Mexico City

I am one of those guys who signed up for an Ironman 70.3 without doing any triathlon or knowing much about the sport. I was in the middle of my marathon training when the idea of doing a triathlon popped into my head.

I knew I had to find someone to guide me and tell me what I should do in order to achieve my goals especially because every run I did was hurting and I knew there must be something wrong with me an I needed to find out what it was.

I found Minimuri and coach Víctor and right away he found out what my problem was and it was my running form. He introduced me to a natural running technique and a new way of training. I was surprised how quickly I was running pain free and improving in my swimming biking and running.

Oli coaches’ wife is a really good nutritionist and she taught me how to hydrate properly and fuel myself during my training and racing.

I must say that with their help I was able to get on the podium and with just a year in the sport I placed in the top 5 of my AG nationwide and was able to compete in the USA National Championship, the Mexican National Championship and qualified for the ITU AG Grand Final.

I guess what I’ve been trying to say is thank you Minimuri
