Open Water Swimming

In Las Terrenas Samaná area we have the best beaches to train open water swim. The Caribean sea varies along the year so it is always better to go with a professional team that will take care of your safety and will wide you trough your training session.

Sometimes we have some current on the ocean and sometimes the water is calm and really clear so that is why we design or sessions by time rather than distance.

We currently have 3 different options of open water swimming, from 45 minutes to 1 hour and a half, it depends a lot on the level of training you have we can recommend one or the other.

Road Cycling

Come and join us for a cycling ride along Samana province. And enjoy the terrific views from the road.

We ride on the “Boulevard Turístico del Atlántico” one of the most beautiful scenery roads of Dominican Republic, This is a round trip to el Catey Airport the road goes trough a mountain area but not to steep so you can climb at good pace and accelerate at good speed on the downhill. At the end we will finish at the Check Restaurant where we can share our experiences while we enjoy a full breakfast (included). This is a round trip from Las Terrenas to el Catey Airport, Samaná Province.

Leaving from Las Terrenas Town we take one of the most scenery roads “Boulevard Turístico del Atlántico”, then we pass the Catey Airport and then we go to Nagua Town going along Rice and Coconut Plantations from one side and from the other side we will be riding along the Atlantic Ocean. All the way to el Catey it is a mountain area, after that is mostly flat so you can set a nice pace all the way trough. Once we hit Nagua we go back the same road so take care on the flat course because once we pass el Catey we begin climbing for 5km aprox. At the end we will finish at the Check Restaurant where we can share our experiences while we enjoy a full breakfast (included).

Leaving from Las Terrenas Town we go to el Catey Airport taking one of the most scenery roads of Dominican Republic “Boulevard Turístico del Atlántico” after that we take a left going to Sanchez Town which is a small fishing village, then we go to Samana and we will have the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful view of Samana bay. Just Before we go in town we take another left going taking the road to El Limon that is famous for his waterfalls and then we go to the next town El Portillo and then we will ride along the beach until we go back to Las Terrenas where we will enjoy a deserved full breakfast at the ZUBR Restaurant where we can share our experiences while we enjoy a full breakfast (included).

Trail Running

Each trail has a particular taste of the area. You will have to be well trained to participate because you will find short but stipe hills, rocky and slippery technical downhills. The trails are well marked but sometimes the plants take over the place and expect to go through the bushes in some areas. The mud will get take the best from you. But the views you will see and the experience you will have are only allowed for the adventurous athletes. In the area there are no poison bugs or armful animals so there is nothing to worry about it. We will take care that you are well hydrated and that you have a pleasant and challenging experience.

This is a shorter version of the Epic Las Terrenas Mountain Bike Race. Perfect for runners looking for a slightly shorter Caribbean experience. The terrain varies from forest, jungle, swamps and road. Steep climbs and descents can be quite technical depending on weather conditions. The trail can be quite muddy and slippery at times. It is highly recommended to have completed a half marathon within the last 3 months or be well trained. The course is not a complete loop, a motorcycle taxi will be provided to return to Punta Popy. The run will be followed by a complete breakfast..

The “Ruta del Café” is designed for experienced trail runners looking for an adventure in Dominican Republic. It is highly recommended to have completed a marathon within the last 6 months or be well trained. The run will be followed by a complete breakfast.
